This durable French cafe style stool is based on the original design by Xavier Pauchard, which was first released to the market in 1934.
Our Replica Xavier Pauchard stools are tough and built to last. They may be used both indoors and outdoors, and are made from galvanised metal. Praised for their hardiness, the rumour is that these stools were apparently used on battleships, however they are now more associated with bars or kitchen furniture.
These stool are powder coated and have first been galvanised. There are rubber foot protectors on each leg, so will not harm any surfaces. They may be stacked up to ten high.
This stool is not at original which is sold under licence by Thonet under the brand name Tolix, this is a replica item constructed true to the original design specifications.
