The 'EM Dining Table was designed in the early 1950's for the celebrated "Maison Tropique" project , this project was one of the early pre-fabricated housing projects for post war France. Like much of his earlier works, the design follows the aesthetics of necessity. Prouve's engineering background is evident in every step of the design, but the result is much more organic than the designer ever intended.
Our replica Jean Prouve Dining Table is made with a solid wood top with an Oak Veneer, with Tubular steel legs. The Jean Prouve table is made to the exact specifications of the original, and is an ideal match for our Jean Prouve Standard Chair. The replica Jean Prouve 'EM' table comfortably seats 6-8 people.
