Originally commissioned by the US Navy in WWII for use on warships, the US Navy Chair remains a beautifully designed dining chair. The design specifications for the Navy chair were simple - design a sturdy, robust and stylish chair that would withstand all conditions. This chair is a true icon of American design, and is just as popular today.
Our Replica US Navy Chairs are based on the original 1944 design and are suitable for both indoor dining or outdoor use. The chairs are made tough and will never rust as they are made completely from aluminium. These stylish chairs have a gently rounded back, and a moulded and curved seat which really does fit all body types and makes this an extremely comfortable chair for extended seating periods.
The Navy Chairs come finished in a red powder coat, and are also stocked in a number of other colours or alternatively in a hand brushed polished silver finish. Matching bar stools are also available.
