This durable chair is based on the original design by Xavier Pauchard, which was first released to the market in 1934. The chair was designed originally as a comfortable chair for the French cafe scene. This sculptured french cafe chair is equally at home in the dining room and makes an elegant combination with wooden dining tables and period style furniture.

Our Replica Xavier Pauchard dining chairs are tough and built to last. There are thick rubber foot protectors on each leg, so will not harm any surfaces.

They are made from steel which has first been galvanised, and then powder coated in either white or black. The chairs can be stacked 10 - 12 high and are commercial grade suitable for both home and commercial applications.

This chair is not at original which is sold under licence by Thonet under the brand name Tolix, this is a replica item constructed true to the original design specifications.
