This stunning Bentwood Chair was created in the 1930's, when modern technology allowed timber to be shaped using steam and pressure. We have created a premium grade Replica Josef Hoffman No.811 Dining Chair in black timber, based on this stunning design.

This timeless and modern design provides amazing comfort to the user, yet does not have the bulk or weight that traditional chairs exhibit. The amazing curved featured timber under the seat creates a stunning look that was prominent in the Art Nouveau era.

The timber Bentwood frame is made from European Beech timber and stained black, and the seat and backrest have a natural woven cane. There is a gauze underneath the seat to add stength and ensure longevity of use of this famous chair.

This is a more generous sized dining chair, with the seat itself measuring 48 cm W x 44 cm D and with a Seat Height of 46 cm. This chair comes fully assembled and ready for use.
